Job title: Business Operation Assistant/Marketplace and e-commerce support

Job Overview:

We’re searching for a result-driven eCommerce and marketplace account specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving online sales with operational excellence for our customers. As an eCommerce and marketplace specialist, you’ll be pivotal in scaling our customers’ online presence and maximizing sales across leading platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, TikTok, and also from the customers’ direct websites. Besides handling existing marketplaces, you will also help create some new marketplaces, such as Rakuten, as our customers’ new sales channels.

You’ll bring a blend of strategic insight and hands-on execution to manage our customers’ eCommerce operations and build strong partnerships with both internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for marketplaces and e-commerce websites, including listing optimization, inventory replenishment, and advertising, to boost sales across e-commerce channels.
• Create account health and sales plan reports covering sales performance, competitor analysis, and other key metrics to drive actions.
• Overseeing and managing the performance and engagement of Peppaca Platform’s social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Pinterest, LinkedIn, and others.
• Manage and optimize product listings, keywords, images, and content on various eCommerce platforms to maximize visibility and sales.
• Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and marketplace trends to identify and act on growth opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to marketplace policies and guidelines to maintain account ranking and active status.
• Work effectively with teams across the US, ensuring seamless alignment with Content, Design, Product Development, and IT.

Salary compensation will Depend On Experience

Pay: JPY 3 million - JPY 3.6 million starting annual pay

• Proven experience or proof of quick learning capability in managing e-commerce marketplace accounts such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Rakuten, TikTok Shop, or other social commerce sites with a strong track record of increasing sales and profitability. (Preferred, but not a must)
• In-depth knowledge of marketplace platforms and tools (e.g., Amazon buy box/automation, ChannelAdvisor, Google Analytics) is a plus.
• Capacity to translate complex business processes into structured, actionable rules to optimize decision-making and workflows quickly.
• Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing strategies, shopify and Volusion platforms.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with international teams across different time zones.
