Let me start by saying I took this call center job out of desperation - I had bills to pay and not the means to do so, when a friend who already works for Alorica recommended I apply. The application process was quick - the day after I applied I came in for the first interview, less than a week later I had a group interview and then a drug test the same day, and maybe a week after that I began training. To Alorica's credit, I rather appreciated how efficient the application and interview process was and that they did not make me wait for an answer on whether or not they would hire me, they told me right away after the group interview ended. The best thing I can say bout this company is that I rather like my co-workers, they're all good people also just trying to get by, even our immediate supervisors who are doing their best to take care of us - what I take issue with is just about everything else. The job itself is tiresome dealing with customers who are frequently angry and abusive towards us, upper management doesn't care and does not listen to the people below them, and everything is made wore by the out of date computers and systems we're stuck using (that barely function). Unless you are absolutely desperate and your choices are between starving or working for Alorica, I could not recommend this job.
