Management cooperative; attempt to pair like minded employees together.

I enjoy my job for the most part although first four weeks a bit stressful as established employees more than willing to act as top brass giving unsolicited instructions. Once that situation was addressed and everyone began speaking kind words to each other the overall atmosphere lightened so that working conditions were tolerable. Please and Thank You go a long way.
Not very well managed in Clarksville. People are constantly quitting. Lots of stress on supervisors, we don't have time to do supervisory stuff because we are stuck working the line because we are so under staffed. Ex. One location needs at least 5 people to run plus your supervisor(s) (for morning shift) and this location has one employee morning shift employee. Management has been pulling people from different locations to others and there is no time to properly train any employees that we have. Everything falls back on the supervisor because the employees don't know what to do because they couldn't properly get trained. All the time we have to train is we are working one station and trying to guide someone on in a different station because lack of staff.
Short staffed, does not have time to do your job correctly, does not train staff very well

I worked for Compass Group for over 14 years and found it enjoyable and challenging .Cooking for large quantities which I enjoy and that they have jobs in all ares like Prisons, sports stadiums , Hospitals, aged care Air ports cafes ,resturants
This company cares only about profit and nothing else, if they feel You criticize too much or that you may expose the way management works they will terminate you. I have worked for 4 years with zero advancement, meanwhile the middle managers get a nice bonus every year.
Free lunch only
Lack of teamwork, mostly by any form of management or marketing

Its a good place to work, supervisor's and managers very easy to approach, Very professional, quiet, relaxed benefits amazing, Hardest part of my job was letting associates know that they had no medical insurance.
In the beginning to seem like a good job but only paid a few cents above minimum wage once I started working there it was more like doing the jobs of two or three people for almost minimum wage you could work up to 8 hours a day but get paid for only 6.5 time was deducted for brakes that we were never taking because there was too much work and not enough time and also there were deductions for meals that we never got to eat on top of that the chef manager was very verbally abusive. In over a year we didn't have a single staff meeting so no one could talk about any problems and he wouldn't help us he would just let it go until he got upset and would blow up on the wrong person. Very negative and toxic work environment and the workload was very unfair. This is a huge company and they pay their management a lot of money but they pay their staff barely above minimum wage and barely give them enough hours to survive.
The residents are great
Unreal workload and very low wage, negative work environment
This place is a joke work you hard and never treat you good at all

I got fired for missing work for having a baby and Calling out sick one time this place is heartless. They hire you as part-time but work you full time with the benefits. Hastle work environment too with one employee.

This company does not value their employees at all! A few steps short of slave labour. when I worked here I was encouraged to break Health codes in order to get the job done "in time". Also when I questioned the Health and safety practices, was reprimanded and disciplined by my superiors.

i really enjoyed this job when i first started, it was everything i was looking for, challenging but rewarding and very fast pace. Unfortunately when the new general Manager started all that changed and the kitchen i personally worked at started to crumble.
Besides the prejudice supervisors and awful pay rate the atmosphere is great my fellow emplyees love me we love each other its just the managers i dont really think they like me nor appreciate the great workers they have
The employees are great, but there is a huge lack of leadership from supervisors to the administration. The hardest part is getting management motivated. The easiest part is motivating the hourly workers.
It started well but I was transferred too many times due to contracts ending or locations shutting down. Also, their management was not the best, It is very industrialized and their protocols and systems they have implemented do not always work well but they are not involved enough to know. However, I will say after dealing with a bad situation the HR really took care of me and offered me a position at a different location.
