A typical work day involves HR operations which are employee queries, holiday requests, pending work deadlines from my superior etc.
I learnt how to manage people using emotional intelligence. With management, I learnt how to get HR work done in good time and my co-workers, how to relate with them and know how they feel about the company in order to give feedback to my boss and proffer solutions.
The hardest part of the job was to obtain management approval on HR activities. In-approval of these activities made HR look bad from the perspective of employees.
The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to resolve employees inquiries and complaints.
