Multi-tasking and Learning about the Business
In-house Interpreter and Translator (現在は退職) – Tokyo – 2014年7月08日
I supported 3 executives from UK including a Japanese CEO and I interpreted in telephone conferences, external meeting with business partner, government officials, during APAC executive visits to Tokyo and so forth. I also translated legal contracts, annual reports, all correspondence emails and reports between CEO and Singapore, US and UK and my days were very busy most of times. I enjoyed learning about the technical part of the business such as how to apply with the government in order to obtain a licence for a products such as ointment or nasal spray that is already on the market overseas. My job included covering Marketing, Sales, IT, Finance and other internal departments thus I had an opportunity to see the business from many different angels and to learn.
