Great place to work. Many opportunities to advance yourself into other job areas. The management at my store was fun and cared for the personnel and the company. Glad to have participated in building out store within the District from the bottom to the Top Store and each employee received $1000 bonus. I had only one complaint with a bad apple manager who was not a very nice person to the employees. I resigned because store was too far out and our great store manager moved to Winchester store.
Great employees will to help each other, nice store culture.

Working at Lowe's was a great opportunity to learn and expand. With so many departments there is a plethora of choices to find where you are gifted. I felt at home in the Pro department , that allowed me to learn the entire store vs one single department.
Very good benefits and competitive pay. Service Manager and above is where you want to be in this company. Service Managers are typically a flat 40 per week. It can be a tough place to work for depending on the Store Manager. The hardest part of the job is time management. As Service Manager, you have a lot to do during the day. Most enjoyable part is the people.
Good benefits for retail.
Very political environment. Hard work is not rewarded.
i will give another try if i am reemployed its a fun place to work

Product Service Associate/Merchandiser (現在は退職) – Bridgeton, MO – 2018年2月15日
When I started working at Lowe's management was great as was the corporate culture that emphasized a good work life balance. I even turned down a 6 figure job offer because the work environment was so good, and I was not making 6 figures at Lowe's.
In January of 2017 Lowe's changed their corporate down to the store structure for the worse. Along with this came a more negative attitude toward the employees and as time went on it got worse. Longtime employees were quitting because the morale and work environment was so bad. Finally in June of 2017 I left.
Currently not many
Not enough managers and employees to take care of the customer and get your tasks done.
The job is not a hard one. Everyday was something different. The store was clean and very well maintained. Great bunch of people to work with, Management always took care of the associates and treated everyone fairly.

The work place seems to keep getting better but the management keeps getting worse. The team is a good and hard working people. The management staff has a few problems with not agreeing with each other.
I worked as a garden associate. The job can be a little strenuous but the group of people I worked with made it fun. However, you will start to see less and less of your co-workers during the fall and winter. Zone coverage changes drastically when the store is not busy. There may be one person in the department all day and no one to close.

Company is trying hard to beat Home Depot while following in their past footsteps with cuts of higher paid more experienced associates. Staffing on the floor is very sparce and does not follow their core value of customer service.
Can be nice work environment. Management is not the most knowledgeable. Compensation is fair. This is a good place for young people or retired people to work. Talent evaluation is lacking along with good training for employees.
A lot of walking. The culture was demeaning and oppressive. There were a lot of work place injuries and management would fight you over allowing you to go to the doctor or attend physical therapy. You were not always allowed to take a lunch break and very rarely were given a 15 minute break. When complaints were made through HR, they were not properly addressed.
