Create Unforgettable Experiences as a Chalet Host in Niseko

Since 2003, H2 Group has been a leader in Niseko’s luxury hospitality and property management. We have grown into a full-service consultancy offering project management, real estate services, property management, and world-class hospitality experiences.
We are now looking for passionate and service-oriented Chalet Hosts to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests in the stunning Niseko region.

<Job Description>

As a Chalet Host, you will play a key role in creating memorable and personalized experiences for our guests. From pre-arrival itinerary planning to on-site guest relations, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and even chauffeur duties, you will ensure that every stay is seamless and unforgettable.

Working in a dynamic, international team, you will interact with guests from around the world and deliver five-star service throughout their stay at our luxury chalets.

<Key Responsibilities>

Provide personalized guest services
・Understand and follow H2 Life's standard operating procedures (guest relations, housekeeping, F&B, chauffeur services, etc.)
・Assist guests with itinerary planning, reservations, and scheduling activities
・Update guest history and preferences to enhance personalized services

Housekeeping & Property Management
・Ensure guest rooms and common areas are kept in pristine condition
・Offer laundry and pressing services as required

Food & Beverage Services
・Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, après-ski, and dinner
・Provide silver spoon service including plate serving, wine decanting, and pouring

Chauffeur Duties (for applicable candidates)
・Assist with guest transportation within the resort as needed

Maintain a Professional and Flexible Approach
・Adapt to guest and business needs with a proactive and service-driven mindset
・Uphold high standards of personal presentation and hygiene at all times
・Deliver service in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, ensuring clear communication

<Work Hours>

Approximately 40 hours per week (schedule based on guest bookings and resort occupancy)
Work will not always follow a fixed routine, and shifts will include weekends and public holidays

<Skills We Are Looking For>

Passion for luxury hospitality and guest experience
Flexible and adaptable – able to adjust to changing tasks and environments
Strong knowledge of food & beverages, including wine service and cocktail preparation
Proactive, professional, and able to multitask
Detail-oriented and punctual
Computer literate – able to create reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in English is required (Mandarin and Japanese skills are a plus)

<Qualifications>

Degree in hospitality or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of international five-star hotel experience
Eligible for work authorization in Japan (Working Holiday Visa preferred)
International or Japanese driver’s license preferred

<Compensation & Benefits>

Competitive salary package in line with market standards and lifestyle
Bonus scheme – based on individual and company performance
Transportation allowance: JPY 10,000/month
Annual Leave: 10 days granted after 6 months of employment
Sick Leave: 5 days granted after the 3-month probation period
Relocation Allowance: Available for candidates moving from other cities
Social Insurance: Full coverage under Japan’s social insurance system
Work Visa Sponsorship: Available for eligible candidates
Annual Holidays: 115–120 days (based on company calendar), maternity and paternity leave available

1日の仕事の流れ

A Day in the Life (Chalet Host)

9:00 AM – Arrival & Preparation
Review the guest itinerary, confirm bookings, and ensure the chalet is ready for the day.

9:30 AM – Breakfast & Concierge Services
Prepare and serve breakfast, assist guests with planning their daily activities, and update guest preferences.

12:00 PM – Housekeeping & Chalet Maintenance
Ensure rooms and common areas are tidy, provide laundry services, and restock supplies.

3:00 PM – Afternoon Guest Services
Coordinate après-ski services, confirm dinner reservations, and provide chauffeur assistance as needed.

6:00 PM – Dinner Service & Evening Coordination
Serve dinner, decant wine, and ensure guests have everything they need for a relaxing evening.

10:00 PM – Wrap-Up & End of Shift
Prepare for the next day’s schedule, confirm any special requests, and head off to enjoy Niseko’s nightlife or relax at a hot spring.
