English language instruction targeting pre-departure preparation for study abroad, as well as future career development after returning to Japan.

Lesson contents range from basic English development (such as grammar and daily English conversation) to resume and job interview preparation. This role includes teaching English to students who wish to study abroad, creating curricula, and providing guidance and advice (mostly regarding life in the study abroad destination of their choice/specific English language skills).

Details:

• English language lessons (online/face-to-face) ※Work from the office.
• Group lessons (max. 10 students) are 55 minutes each
• Weekdays: 3-5 lessons; Weekends: 5-7 lessons
• Student age range: 18 to 30 years old
• Curriculum development
• Counseling for students who are planning to study or work abroad (working holiday)

Required skills/experiences:

• Must currently reside in Japan
• English teaching experience (at least 1 year)
• References (at least 2)
• General PC skills (PPT/Excel/Word)
• English proficiency (one of the following):

TOEIC score 850 or above /Eiken Level 1 or above /TOEFL iBT score 90 or above /IELTS 8.5 /Cambridge Exam /Overseas university degree

Preferred qualities:

• Certifications (TESOL/TEFL)
• *Japanese language is welcome but not mandatory.
• Experience studying abroad or working holiday program for over 6 months
• Basic computer & class operation skills using Google Drive, Microsoft Office, etc.

• Complete a five-day work system (Fixed 2 days off)

Shift Breakdown:

• Monday-Friday: 10:00-19:00 or 13:00-22:00 (1-hour break included)
• Saturday ＆ Sunday: 10:00-19:00 (1-hour break included)

• Complete a five-day work system (fixed days off, negotiable for possible days off of the week)
• Annual paid days off: 130-145 days/year
• Available to take consecutive days off for 5+days

Days off increase with the number of years of employment as shown below:

• 1st year: 130 days/year in total⇒ special paid vacations(11 days) + regular paid vacations (10 days) + fixed days off a week per year and New Year holidays.
• 2nd year: 134 days/year in total⇒ special paid vacations(14 days) + regular paid vacations (11 days) + fixed days off a week per year and New Year holidays.
• 3rd year and thereafter: 137-145 days/year in total⇒ special paid vacations(16 days) + regular paid vacations (12 to 20 days) + fixed days off a week per year and New Year holidays.

固定残業代あり：月給 ￥250,000 〜 ￥350,000は1か月当たりの固定残業代￥25,770〜￥36,060（15時間相当分）を含む。15時間を超える残業代は追加で支給する。
