This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled research professional to join a preclinical-stage company developing next-generation cell therapies using a proprietary platform technology. The successful candidate will support efforts in engineered T cell evaluation and clone screening for lead candidates and other discovery projects.

Reporting to the manager, this individual will be responsible for executing and optimizing in vitro assays, supporting the clone screening process, and helping to advance therapeutic candidates toward clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Culture T cells and tumor cell lines, including performing activation, expansion, and viral transduction.
• Conduct in vitro assays—such as cytotoxicity, cytokine release, and proliferation—to evaluate T cell function.
• Support high-throughput screening of novel engineered clones by adhering to established protocols.
• Prepare and analyze flow cytometry panels for immune phenotyping and functional characterization.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and assist with data processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with scientists and research associates to ensure timely execution of project milestones.

Job Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in in vitro cell-based assays and immunological methods.
• Ability to analyze and present data in a clear and organized manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education and Skills

• Research Associate: Master’s degree in a life science field with 2+ years of hands-on research experience.
• Proficiency with flow cytometry and experience in cell-based functional assays are essential.

Working Hours:

• Flexible Time:
• Start Time Window: 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
• End Time Window: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Core Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Break Time: One hour during the workday

Holidays:
Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and other company-designated holidays

Paid Leave:
Annual paid leave is granted to employees who have attended at least 80% of their scheduled workdays.
Statutory paid leave is granted after six months of employment and thereafter on an annual basis according to statutory entitlement.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors (completely smoke-free environment)

固定残業代あり：年俸 ￥4,000,000 〜 ￥5,000,000は1か月当たりの固定残業代￥60,000〜￥80,000（30時間相当分）を含む。30時間を超える残業代は追加で支給する。
