urpose Statement:

As an experienced data analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting our business strategy and operations in Japan from a data and analytics perspective. You’ll be responsible for ensuring effective data governance and providing analytics support to drive informed decision making. If you’re passionate about using data to support business with data technical expertise and excel in communication this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders APAC Data team and Japan IT team to collect and understand business requirements on reports analytics and identify data sources and gaps and develop a data roadmap aligning with business priorities and values.
Analytics Reports standardization: Lead and drive projects to streamline existing BI reporting landscape with new standard reporting as critical information to business this includes change management technical deep dives of data lineage and analytics dashboard design communication with stakeholders design of governance framework of analytics reporting etc.
Daily Operation Support Management: Manage vendor resources to support operations of data reporting environment to ensure smooth running of data reporting solutions to support business including ticket management technical expertise support service catalog development daily task management etc.
Data Product Delivery: Partner with the APAC data platform team and data engineers to deliver and manage data products in DataMart for consumption
Data Governance: Adhere to the data management and governance framework to ensure data products are structured and maintained according to product life cycle management.
Analytics Support: Provide support and advice to business analysts on leveraging data to generate valuable insights for the business. Collaborate with data analysts and BI teams to create meaningful insights from data. Develop and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI. Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

スキル・資格

Requirements:

Experienced development and daily operational experience on enterprise level big data platform and data services ecosystems. Experience in data management with successful high user adoption including data analytics requirements capturing and optimization data product design/implementation/support etc.
Strong technical hands on experience in Reporting Analytics Solution Management e.g. Tableau Power BI Python SQL query etc.
Good experience in Data platform warehouse will be considered as advantage: AWS data services Spark Python Snowflake etc.
Exhibit strong interpersonal skills especially when engaging with business stakeholders at various level including senior management. Foster collaboration active listening and empathy to build productive relationships. Demonstrate adaptability and openness to new ideas and approaches in Japan business culture.
Communicate effectively in both Japanese and English languages.
Experienced in managing report analytics product life cycle in one of key business areas e.g. sales marketing supply chain etc.
Must be keen in continuous learning both business knowledge and data technologies.
A self starter that works under consultative direction toward predetermined long range goals and objectives.
Working experience and knowledge of data product management stakeholder engagement and project management in Japan.
