【Data Scientist】 tackling world water issues

Are you passionate about contributing to water issue in the world?

Currently, it is said that 3 in 10 people in the world who don't have clean access to water and 1 in 10 people don’t have access to water services and they use river or lake water. Also it is predicted that in 2050, 40％of the people in the world will have water issues.

The company Founded in 2014, it is tackling one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century: the global water crisis. They develop infrastructure-independent water systems designed for use in disaster zones and regions with limited access to clean water.

You will work as a Data Scientist, using data from water sensors and lab tests to improve the performance of the company's water systems. You’ll help make water systems smarter and more efficient to solve global water problems.

Role:

• Analyze data from water systems to find problems and improve performance
• Build models to predict water quality using sensor and lab data
• Create tools to predict when equipment needs maintenance
• Forecast water usage patterns
• Build data pipelines and dashboards (e.g., with AWS, Redash)
• Work with engineers to improve the way water systems work

応募必要条件

スキル・資格

Must have:

• Experience using Python or R for data analysis or machine learning
• Experience working with time-series data
• Experience with sensor or IoT data (cleaning and modeling)
• Able to use SQL for getting and editing data
• Basic understanding of machines, electronics, or water systems (any field is OK)
• Japanese (N2 level or above)
