Key Responsibilities :

• Act as a strategic HR partner, providing legal and compliance advice on employment matters, including labor laws, contracts, terminations, and workplace disputes.
• Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and labor disputes.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Labor Office and other government agencies to ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, and dispute resolution, ensuring fair and legally sound outcomes.
• Lead and support HR operations, including onboarding, exit, payroll, benefits, and performance management.
• Develop and implement HR policies and initiatives aligned with business / company goals and local regulations.
• Provide expert guidance on disciplinary actions, mutual separations, and contract renewals with strong business justifications.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive employee engagement, retention, and talent development strategies.
• Act as a cultural ambassador, fostering a respectful, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
• Stay updated on labor law changes and HR best practices, ensuring the company remains compliant.
• Work on HR projects and initiatives, driving efficiency and continuous improvement in HR processes.

Key Requirements :

• 5~ years of HR experience preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Japan’s labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Established connections with the Labor Office and relevant government agencies.
• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1 preferred) and Business English, with excellent communication skills.
• Independent, proactive, and a quick learner, able to handle complex HR issues with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
• High level of responsibility, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality.
