• Lead engaging walking tours for small groups

Position Details

• Pay: 22,000 JPY per day + bonuses
• Schedule: Flexible — typically 2 to 8 hours per day
• Contract Type: Freelance

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Tokyo’s culture, history, and landmarks
• Fluency in at least one required language
• Friendly, engaging personality
• Guiding or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Interest in food tours is an advantage

Work Schedule and Hours:

As a freelance tour guide with Guydeez, you have complete flexibility to choose the days and hours that fit your availability and preferences. Typically, tours last between 3 to 8 hours, and you can decide how many tours to host based on your schedule.

Overtime Work:

Since this is a freelance role, there is no fixed requirement for overtime. You work as much or as little as you want, with no mandatory extra hours.

Work Style:

The role primarily involves leading in-person walking tours around the city, so it is not a work-from-home position. However, administrative tasks such as scheduling, communication with guests, and training sessions may be done remotely.
