Our company hosts clients from arounds the world interested in seeing and exploring the Japanese Car Culture.
Your main duties as a host are:
- Take clients to key Japanese Car Culture locations and explain their history and significance
- Share your knowledge of the Japanese car scene, different build styles and cars in general with clients
- Give your perspective on life in Japan and recommend places to visit
Required knowledge/skills:
- Mastery of the english language and ability to carry on deep and lively conversation with clients who come from around the world
- Very talkative and able to carry conversations with clients on multiple topics
- Japanese drivers license and a clean record
- Appropriate visa allowing you to work in Japan (we do not provide sponsorship)
- A relaxed and safe driving style
- A verifyable interest in cars, car culture, and auto industry
Welcome knowledge/skills:
- Mastery of any other language, other than English with knowledge of Japanese welcome too
- Deep knowledge of the Japanese car scene
You will host a small group of clients throughout the evening while letting them experience the Japanese Car Culture. This will involve visiting a number of location in tokyo and Yokohama.
Available Shifts:
17:30 - 23:30: Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday
16:30 - 22:30: Friday / Saturday / Sunday
09:30 - 15:30: Saturday / Sunday
There is no overtime.
The work is on a contract basis and you are free to set the days you are available for work after discussion with us.
During the course of the evening, and depending on the shifts you will visit multiple locations spread across Tokyo and Yokohama.
Nearest stations are:
Motomachi-Chukagaion the Minato Mirai Line
Compensation is fixed at JPY 15,000 for a 6 hrhosing trip (day or evening).
If you host two groups on a weekend, then the compensation would be JPY 30,000
No specific perks are included.
If you like cars then you will enjoy the evening yourself also while meeting people from around the world.

If you are Japanese, this is a great opportunity for you to further improve your level of English as you will be required to host the evening in English. As such, you also need an already high level ability in English and the confidence to carry on conversations on multiple topics.
