Position Overview

As a Product Manager, you will lead the product management efforts for implementing Catalina’s solutions into various retail apps. You will collaborate across sales, engineering, product, and data teams to develop, iterate, and manage product performance throughout its lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Product Leadership

• Lead the product implementation for Catalina’s expanding presence in partner retail apps.
• Own maintenance, verification, and troubleshooting for products in your area.
• Manage the development and iteration of products in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Product, Data Science).
• Identify and anticipate future client needs and translate them into actionable features.
• Drive solutions that address customer pain points and improve business value with scalable and adaptable products.

Delivery & Execution

• Drive end-to-end product testing with customers and internal teams.
• Improve development processes to balance speed, quality, and outcomes.
• Actively engage with engineers to resolve issues, beyond communication alone.
• Serve as a product evangelist by enhancing internal and external understanding of features and functionality.

Customer Engagement

• Visit clients, represent the company, and collect feedback on products and services.
• Collaborate to identify gaps and deliver improvements in customer experience.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product management in fast-paced environments
• Proven success managing full product lifecycles and delivering strategic roadmaps
• Hands-on experience with mobile app development and deployment
• Experience in delivering B2C technology products or services
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English
• Strong leadership and mentorship for junior team members

Soft Skills

• Excellent prioritization and communication (verbal and written)
• Negotiation skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality
• Self-starter with the ability to operate without micromanagement
• Comfortable in matrixed, multicultural environments
