Operations Administrator

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our team in Tokyo Japan. You will be responsible for the witnessing / inspection service during the weighing, sampling and moisture value measurements at the time of raw material import and preparation of final reports in collaboration with the UK Head Office and Japanese importers / receivers.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Required Knowledge and Work Experience

Essential

• Good client facing skills, presenting a professional image and able to develop sound business relationships.
• Communication: Good interpersonal skills able to communicate (verbally/written) and liaise professionally at all levels within and outside the Company.
• A team player with dignity and due respect for fellow colleagues.
• A good understanding of quality of service and appreciation of factors involved in delivering a quality service.
• Excellent organisation with a good attention to detail and accuracy.
• A proactive approach working from your own initiative.
• IT Literate: Competence with standard Microsoft software packages and competent in preparing management information and reports.
• Experience within a customer service or customer facing environment.
• Able to prepare overall and individual commodity inspection services.
• Good commercial understanding and appreciation of factors involved in delivering a profitable service.
• Working knowledge of inspection and supervision.
• Working knowledge of quality services and the factors involved in delivering a quality service.
• Working knowledge of profit and loss systems and the factors involved in delivering a profitable service.

Required Work Experience

• Experience within a customer service or customer facing environment.

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent certification and experience

Required Languages

• Fluent in both English and Japanese in business level proficiency
