Job Description:

• Good knowledge of L1/L2 operations and should understand SLA driven processes
• Should be able to write Shell Scripts and SQL queries.
• Track reported problems through the Problem tracking system and generate the necessary reports, root cause analysis, etc
• Interface with customers to resolve customer reported problems/bugs, etc remotely and when required, at the customer site.
• Take handover and carry out effective transition of projects from implementation to support.
• Work closely with the global team across different locations to provide service to customer.
• Proactively look for opportunities to help customer utilize the features of the products.

• Responsible for performing detailed root cause analysis for issues to identify L1 related issues
• Work closely with clients business team to assess risks and prepare mitigation plan
• Should be able to drive weekly reviews and other governance calls with the customer
• Knowledge on Mobileum tools an added advantage. Knowledge on Revenue Assurance or Fraud Management Tools / Domain an added advantage.
• ITIL Certification an added advantage.
• Handling all the communication related to the assigned customer accounts.
• Responsible for handling Level 1 and Level 2 analysis and trouble shooting.
• Provide onsite troubleshooting when necessary and appropriate. Needs to be at customer data centre for any planned activity or during any critical outage which require onsite data centre intervention.
• Onsite meeting at customer office premises.

Skill Sets:

• Domain Expertise: - Knowledge of ITU-T/ANSI SS7, GSM, IS-41, ETSI, 3GPP standards
• Technical know-how on SCCP, TCAP, MAP, ISUP, INAP, CAMEL, SIGTRAN protocol stacks
• Technical Skills: - UNIX (Linux) and shell/Perl scripting

• This role requires Japanese and English proficiency to handle internal and external communication effectively (both written and verbal communication).

Work Experience

2+ years of experience in professional services or customer services in a Telecom environment.

Educational Qualification:

BE. / B.Tech., M.E./M. Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA
